Scott Thomas – Broker

Scott is a licensed insurance broker specializing in commercial insurance. He joined Thomas & Associates in 1979 and has since been actively involved in the Stanwood and Camano Island communities. Scott is past president of the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce, and is a charter member and past president of the Stanwood-Camano Rotary Club. Outside of work, Scott has been active coaching youth basketball and he enjoys ballroom dancing with his wife.

Walt Thomas – Agent

Walt is actually Walter Thomas III and has been with the firm since 1982. His specialty is personal lines insurance. Walt enjoys gardening with his wife, watching his son play baseball, and supporting the Northwest Region of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with his daughter. He also speaks to Stanwood High School students and their families on driver safety as a part of the Snohomish County DUI Task Force.

Jim Jonson – Agent

Jim joined Thomas & Associates in 1987 and specializes in commercial insurance. Jim has been actively involved in the Stanwood business community for over 42 years. He is past president of the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce and is a charter member and past president of the Stanwood-Camano Rotary Club. He is also a past president of the Stanwood Community and Senior Center and currently serves on the advisory board of Camp Fire USA Snohomish County Council. Jim's hobbies include golf, woodworking, traveling and spending time with his family.

Sue Jonson – Agent

Sue has been with Thomas & Associates for over 20 years total. She is a commercial lines specialist working with churches, adult living facilities and other non profit organizations. Originally from Pennsylvania, Sue came to Washington in 1975 and attended Western Washington University. She enjoys reading, traveling and volunteering. She and her husband Jim have two daughters attending college.
